Brand Strategy and Content Creation for BlackBook Bikini

Olivia started as a marketing intern for the San Diego-based clothing company because BlackBook wanted to completely start over their TikTok account, create high quality and engaging content, and promote their bikini products while attracting an authentic audience. Olivia took this project head on and created professional content from photoshoots to post up to three times a day, seven days a week. Starting with only a few hundred followers and 0 posts, the account ended up with over 6k followers, 24k likes, and videos with over 80k views. Olivia also took on their Instagram, and wrote copy for TikTok and reel content.

In addition to content creation, Olivia planned content calendars on a monthly basis for BlackBook, and brainstormed ideas for brand identity, values, and storytelling.

Vacation is Everyday campaign

BlackBook wanted to highlight the sunny San Diego vibe in their brand, and emphasize that bikinis aren’t just for summer down in SoCal! Olivia created videos that would use this tagline and promote an all-year-summer lifestyle with BlackBook.

Using the Algorithm to Her Advantage

Olivia always has her eyes on TikTok and Instagram trends, whether that be with new sounds, songs, video effects, creators, or hashtags. She incorporated as many trends as she could while creating TikTok content for BlackBook, which was rewarded with tens of thousands of views and new audience engagement.
